All Pins Received Except Rei!

Hey everyone! The title is pretty self explanatory! I now have received the package from my manufacturer including all of the pins except Rei, which, as I explained in my last update, needed correction.
It’s my birthday tomorrow so I will be pretty busy this weekend, however I will not waste time in reviewing all the pins I do have. By next Wednesday I will update you guys again and take some pictures of the pins to show you as I review them.
I will also request a status update on the Rei pin from my manufacturer and let you know when I get a response.

Update on Status of Pins

Good afternoon, everyone!
I have communicated with my pin manufacturer and have gotten some news in regards to this series.
First off, the batch was completed. My rep then performed a quality check on the pins.
Unfortunately, one of the pins was overbuffed to a level unacceptable to their standards (and mine), this was pin #4 ”We Can’t Forget The Past”. What happens when a pin is overbuffed is that the metal lines become too thick. These things can happen sometimes in pin production, and normally we would have dealt with something like this months and months ago, but the multiple Covid and lockdown related closures of the factory led to this having to be dealt with now rather than months ago.
The good news is, my rep is amazing at fixing problems, and she has already ordered the batch to be corrected. I was quoted 15 days to fix this pin, and she promised to do her best to get them to me asap due to how long ago I ordered these pins and how long we’ve all been waiting.
In the meantime, she mailed me a package containing ALL the other pins, which is great for us! That package is on it’s way and it will arrive in my possesion within the next few days.
This means that we waste as little additional time as possible, because *while* the one pin is being corrected, I will be reviewing and grading *all* the other ones. During that time, I would also like to push all your orders to my Shopify so that I can print your invoices and get everything ready.
If “We Can’t Forget The Past” is *not* part of your order, I will send you your rewards after pushing the orders and preparing the invoices!
If it *is* in your order, I will get everything else ready for you. When the missing pin arrives, I will grade the pin IMMEDIATELY and complete your packages THAT DAY. I will not waste any time whatsoever. I will then mail them out to you within 24 hours.
Since I will be pushing your orders to Shopify very soon, this is everyone’s last chance to claim your free pin. Most of you already have, but for any of you who have not yet done so but want to, please DM me the extra pin you’d like to add to your order, free of charge. This is my thank you to all of you for going through these exceptional circumstances with me and waiting all this time. More details about the free pin can be found here.

Factory Back in Production!

Good afternoon, everyone!
I’m pleased to announce that my representative has let me know that the factory has opened back up for production! They’re working on completing our pins as we speak. This is wonderful news!
I inquired about what amount of time she estimates for their completion, and she told me mid June. Fingers crossed!
If her projected date is met, then considering the time it would take for the pins to ship to me, for me to grade them all, pack your orders, and send them off, all of your pins should be on their way to you by end of June.
Also, don’t forget to claim your free pin, there’s still some of you left you haven’t messaged me with your choice, and I don’t want any of you guys to miss out! This is my thank you gift to all of you for all of your patience throughout this long process.

Hey guys! I got some good news from my manufacturer! See screenshot below:
Sounds like the factory will be reopening soon, which is great news, because then the pins can finally be completed and sent my way!

Hello everyone!
Yes, you read that title right!
This Kickstarter is taking much, much longer than anticipated to fulfill due to the *multiple* delays I’ve experienced with my manufacturer this time around. Currently, Kunshan, where my manufacturer is located, is under lockdown, I’ve communicated with my rep, and she will let me know the moment she can go back to work and the factory restarts operations. There’s been news that there are signs the lockdown may be lifted soon, but as of right now, we are still waiting.
It was really such a shame that the lockdown happened when it did, because as I showed you all in previous updates, the pins were *so close* to being finished.
These are still very unpredictable times and so we’ve been unfortunate that the area where our pins are being made has been hit hard.
